CD NAV crashing!

Anyone have this problem. 03 CD ROM version.

When in NAV mode and selecting either:
'info on location'
'info on desitination'

The system crashes and restarts itself.

I'm en-route to the Dragon and this sucks. It was a great way to find the nearest
Starbucks or MINI dealer or Gas.

It worked fine when I first put the new discs in.

I have the same problem. Didnt used to be a problem, but seems to have become one with the newer map disks.

I had early issues of the Nav not working at all, the latest software at the time (3/61) seemed to take care of everything. I dont use the 'info on location/destination' much, but it worked way back previously, recently it didnt. Only thing I can think of that has changed was the map disks.

I will probably hound the dealer to fix it, but that risks opening up a whole new can of worms with my luck, and I might lose my British "Ann Richards" voice to boot.

Hmm.

Maybe I'll hound various dealers across the country and see what happens.
Consider the worms loose. I'll let you know what develops.

I had this exact problem on my MINI. The dealer reprogrammed with an "upgrade" and I lost my British voice. On top of that, my NAV is now miscalibrated to show that "you have arrived" AFTER I have already passed the destination by about 100 feet (and also missing turns here and there).

Sitting at Sandia MINI in Albuquerque, NM with the can of worms all over the place. The guys here are great but there is really no recent update for the CD version and the new maps are buggy.

Please disregard. This is DVLMINI on Apex's account.

I wonder if this could begin the migration to DVD systems. I would rather have it set up that way. Had I known they were going to change it, I would have waited one more week!
