I am interested in installing a sub into my Mini S, but (as I'm sure you all know) the trunk is tiny. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know what size an amp the MINI can accommodate?

Mikey,
You may want to look into a DVC Sub. They use a smaller enclosure. I've got a RF Power DVC 12" in my Prelude at the moment and I'm sure it would fit in the Cooper S. Puts out almost what two 12's would. The only prob. with this is that you will be giving up 90% of your cargo space. You may also consider a custom install. They can do some pretty amazing things for the right money.
As for the amp...... I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean. The avg. size of an amp ranges between 8 inchs... to 2 feet.... round about. If you are asking what the MINI stock radio will support...... It won't. If your going to be adding an amp you will need a new head unit.
Hope this helps....
