Is there anyway to skip the dealer and get a thumb drive update directly from BMW? I know there is a million third party vendors out there that have non OEM updates. I was just hoping for OEM and not driving three hours to my nearest dealer. I ahve seen a video on this but the guy was from the UK and didn'[t go into too many details.

I bought the oem update off an eBay seller and upgraded my 2013 nav using the thumb drive. The listing was called “BMW FSC 2022 code + map Europe Premium, Move, Motion, Next NBT” so search for similar. With my seller you emailed him the vin of your car and he sent you the right files to download and extract onto usb to install in your car. My seller is gone now (probably banned) but others will pop up.

I went from Move 2013 to Move 2021 (for Western Europe maps though)
