Base infotainment system cutting out, resetting

On my 2018 F56S, when I am playing Sirius through Bluetooth from my Android with the phone charging from the USB port at the same time, my base infotainment system shuts down (as in the entire screen goes black) then restarts a few seconds later with the MINI logo and green/blue circular graphics, then a few seconds after that, all is well again. The phone is not losing connection to Sirius. Sometimes there is a very short "buzz" kinda sound from the audio system when it goes blank, but not always. I took the car to the dealer for this and a few other small issues a couple weeks ago, and they said it checked out fine for them. Well, it's doing it even more frequently now, just today 3 or 4 times in my 40-minute drive home after work. Has anyone seen anything like this? I hate to take it back to the dealer again, as they are kind of a PITA to deal with. Maybe it's because I am a mechanic for a living, and perhaps that makes me a pain in their **** because I have some knowledge? For example, when I told them there was engine oil on the oil pan that looked like it was possibly coming from the turbo tube that runs below the oil pan....they said they replaced the tube and that should fix the leak. LOL. Well, they in fact DID NOT replace the tube as I was under the car for a trans service right after they "fixed" it, and the same oil was still there (they didn't even clean the area), as well as the original plastic turbo tube. My guess is that the turbo is blowing excessive oil (at 26k miles), thus the oil gathering and finding it's way out of the lowest point of the system. But, I digress. So....has anyone seen an infotainment issue like this? I know it's rather odd and very specific.

Thanks in advance.
Chris

Check your charging cable. This can happen if it has a short and is shorting out the car's USB jack.
