Hello all,

I have a new to me 08 R56 with 2 issues.

The joystick isn’t working, I installed a new one but it still doesn’t function. It was out of a newer Countryman if that matters.

In messing around more with the unit, I’ve discovered the screen itself does work. If you hit the button to the right of the AM/FM, it will bring up the entertainment screen. So I tried the voice command to see what would happen, and that works, but it keeps saying to insert navigation dvd, which is already installed.

Could the issues be linked, or do I have two separate problems? Any advice as to how to troubleshoot?
