Adding a Sub woofer

Has anyone out there in R53 land added a sub woofer to the factory HK system? If so, how did you do it.

That looks like a nice set up, but I have a 10" Round Kicker Solo Baric with a Kenwood sub amp already. Want to build a box and be able to hook it to the factory stereo. I know you can with other cars, just wondering if the Mini is any different.

The mounting is a little sketchy if you're not careful (they sent me the wrong length bolt for the threadsert which totally screwed everything up). The best part of it is the custom shaped carpeted cover, but for nearly a grand it's not worth it.
