OEM subwoofer?

There is a separate control for subwoofer on my 2009 R55 which is puzzling to me as I didn’t think there was any factory subwoofer in this model. And even if there is not, is it possible there are wires for one?

What separate control are you referring to? A photo would be helpful. I'm guessing that the subwoofer is aftermarket.

I think that's the speed dependant volume adjustment to compensate for road noise.
