Recently bought a 04 MCS with Nav and found that when listening to the radio, and if you hit the Mode button, the radio changes to CD1-01 and the Nav screen changes to SPEED DIALING. Found a radio manual online, but this is not covered. If I change screens on the Nav it will change back in a few seconds. If I hit Mode again the radio goes to TR 1 and starts playing the CD and the Nav reverts to whatever it was doing previously.

Any insight on this feature and how to use it?

 

Do you have an i-phone type jack in the glove compartment?

 

Yes there is a jack that appears to be for an Apple product and an aux jack in the glove box.
