ok im thiinking of expierimenting, im gonna buy a 10inch sub, can i wire this right to the harmon kardon amp?

Unless it's a sub with built-in amp, the sub will require an additional amp to drive it.

Years ago...

Years ago Alphasonik made a subwoofer amplifier that could accept hi-level inputs (speaker level inputs) that actually sounded really decent. I believe it was model AS-1100. I believe you could hook such a beast up to a non-powered sub attached to a HK system.
