Handsfree phone and iphone music

My wife just bought an '06 MCS cabrio with Harmon Kardon. There is no aux jack.

We want to be able to plug the phone into USB and have 1) handsfree calling and 2) play music from the iPhone through the radio.

Is this the thing to get along with the bluetooth extension? http://gromaudio.com/store/usb_adapt...d_car_kit.html

Will I need the DSP conversion as well since its Harman Kardan?

Thanks in advance. If you know of better/cheaper methods please let me know. I'd prefer not to use bluetooth for music. I think it drains the battery quickly. I've also had bad experience with bluetooth to aux jacks. Also, not interested in aftermarket head unit. That may be the cheaper option and better sound too, but I don't care for the look especially in a Mini.
