I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S with the Harmon Kardon sound, the car also has the factory ipod connector in the glove box. Do any of you know if I can remove the ipod connector from the back of the head unit and replace it with the Grom BT3 so I can have bluetooth connectivity and be able to listen to me phone via bluetooth.

I read that link, really didnt tell me if I could just unplug the factory ipod connector in my glove box, not trunk. I also have the harmon kardon stereo
