Amp and new speakers with Non-H/K HU

I've searched and searched and I couldn't come up with a definitive answer. I would like to keep my stock head unit for the OEM look but I have an AMP and new speakers on the way. My HU is the non-HK one and it's an R53. I would really like to install the amp behind the dash (it's a small one) or int he spot in the boot that the HK would go.

Has anyone done this and where did they tap into the signal? I'm not afraid to run new wires but if I can avoid that would be great too.

Thanks!

I installed my amp in the storage compartment in the trunk on the left side. I used the line level inputs on the amp and got the signal from the rear speakers. Worked pretty good until I found a new head unit.

That looks great. My amp us going to feed all the speakers so I think I'm going to end up mounting in the same place as you but run a ton of speaker wire from the back of the console to the amp in the boot and then back to all the speakers:(
