Question for the audio experts: Where is the radio antenna in a Nav system equipped R53? The plastic housing on the roof has a hole in the top which the former owner indicated was due to antenna vandalism but I read a thread that implied the radio antenna for the Nav cars is actually in the rear window & the parts checked on the Penske Parts site indicates there is an antenna amplifier (but does not indicate the location). It also does not appear that an antenna can actually be installed as it simply looks like a circuit board under the plastic cover.


Main reason for question, reasonably poor FM radio reception and no AM reception other than static, which I would like to improve. The car has the H-K system which still works although it does need a drivers door speaker.
