I don't know if anybody's come across this. A while ago I was driving through our area, and saw the sign for a restaurant (a crossed fork and knife) on the nav screen.

I thought to myself, noway there's a restaurant there, that's a subdivision. I drove there to check it out, and there was definitely no restaurant

Even though the restaurant was showing up on the screen, it was not in the list of restaurants in the immediate area (accessible through a menu screen on the nav)

Ever since then, I've been noticing some phantom restaurants in all sorts of random places

Any body come across something like this? It's pretty amusing! Go NavTech

 

Oh ya...too bad the nav support is so poor. My subdivision is nearly 4 years old and my Mom's new Mini's nav still doesn't show it

But still, I still find it indespensible in place of nothing else

 

honestly, I find not having NAV to be more fun. We drove all over the place last weekend looking for odds and ends. We ended up finding the location of some murders in Michigan . Crazy stuff, but loads of fun. :smile:

 

Oh it's fun until I'm lost and frustration sets in
