Changing R53 Antenna pre facelift to post facelift
`Hi guys, my mini 2002 antenna is stuffed ( Glass one) Instead of replacing the side window with tinting, I have got a antenna off a 2005 Cooper S with Nav, Bluetooth - am-fm.
Has anyone completed this? Can I just run a power cable up to the new antenna, and run the radio antenna cable straight to the radio? Or do I have to run it via the radio amplifier? I notice that the later 2004- 2006 had a different amp than the 2002 cars... Will there be more wiring required as its different plugs...
