CD player

The radio in my 2007 Mini S convertible won't eject a CD. Makes noises like it trying to eject but the CD will not come out. I had to take the radio out and turn it sideways and hit it on my hand to get the cd to start to come out, the I was able to take it out. Put the radio back in and it works but don't want to put another cd in. Any ideas?

Replace it or ignore it.

CD's are 1990s tech.

Get something that works with MP3 such as the Aux In or a DICE Mediabridge or Denison.

If you want the CD player...
I would buy a used on...sounds like it is broke...bet not worth the $$ to attempt a fix...
Gen1 CD players are 3 makers/versions...look externally the same but for the volume ****...
The 2 versions found on (I think mid 2004) 2005+ cars will be fine...do everything you want...
I recall the first year or so of production could not do mp3 CD's or aux in if I recall...
Bet for $25-50 you can get a second unit...
