Anyone ever experience turning off car while listening to Sirius and when car is restarted later, car has forgotten you were listening to Sirius and has gone to first FM station you have stored in presets?
This seems to happen randomly to my car. I have not been able to associate anything to this random problem, I've ruled out key and low voltage as possibilities.

 

Ruled out the key? When it happened to me, I later realized my key stored the radio info, which is different than my wife's key.

 

I ruled out key some time ago, this problem randonly happens with either key. Vehicle does have comfort access and I thought problem might have been caused by opening boot with CA, but that has been ruled out as well. Still looking for a pattern but so far it still seems random.
MINI thinks it might be a programming error, but if that were the case, more cars would be affected.

 

Mine did something similar, but went to satellite channel 02 on every preset button, and the tuning **** had no effect. Took it in to the dealer, they said there was a bulletin on this kind of thing, and did a software update. So far, so good.
