Motorola Road Warrior 2
Anyone tried the Motorola Road Warrior 2?
Basically the device clips to the visor for making calls from your phone. You don't need to turn on as it will know if the phone is in the car.
My phone is a cheap HUAWEI Verge M570. Metro PCS. Basically a cheap plan for two phones at $70 per month. I am sure one iPhone would cost that and more? I don't use it much at all, mostly wife calling to see if I am on my way home from work.
Mini is 2014 with Nav and Mini Connected system. Just looking for a simple hands free way to use phone. At my age I don't want to touch any phone while driving.
It never occurred to me that the phone would not sync with BT to the Mini? I had no problem with the BT in my Toyota Corolla. Not unhappy with Mini, but I think hands free is the safe route. I have tried to connect several times but it does not work even after going through the steps and seeing it on the Nav screen. It is there as if connected but does not work. Like going through the motions to connect a phone but in the end it does not work.
Anyone else using a similar device? I really don't want to get into a huge take the dash apart and re-wire the car project. Something simple that can dial by voice a number if needed. I keep very few contacts in the phone.
Thanks
