I'm thinking of getting a ProClip mount for my iPod, or possibly the Panavise one. I'd like to put it on the right side of the center console, but I'm worried about not being able to put anything very large in the cup holder while I have the iPod mount installed. Does anyone have either of these or another iPod mount that clears their cup holder? Is this a problem for anyone? (I'm talking about the swivel cup holder)

Personally I prefer the ProClip product line.

I have the proclip mount for the ipod. Since the mount attaches around the downtube you can essentially place it at any height you want. I purchased the one for the left downtube and have it all the way at the top of the downtube. It doesn't interfere with trying to put anything in the cup holder.

I have the panavise mount (into the right downtube by the head unit) and it does interfere with medium to large cups in the right side MiniFini cup holder. The setup looks and works great, but I may go to the Proclip mount a bit higher up on the downtube.

Hope that helps.

I have the Panavise mount but fabricated the actual iPod mount from the standard white belt clip that comes with it rather than the Panavise cell phone holders and find that interference is not a problem.

I have the Proclip mount on the right downtube above the swiveling cup holder. I mounted the Proclip as high as it will go on the downtube. It does not interfere with most cups. For example, the MINI coffee mug fits fine, and so do 16-oz. water bottles. But larger sized cups probably would touch the Proclip.
