pre-amp out (Line out)

According to the 40 pin cable diagram it is possible to get line out.
Did anyone try it?
Will it work on our MINI?

i say its possible just make a pig tail from the line outs and see if you get signal clean enough to get what you want... worse case scenario you get no signal or you fry something.

First, I'll note that the 1st generation MINI have a 40-pin connector like that in back of the OEM headunit. However, you posted in a 2nd generation forum. The 2nd gen MINI has completely different electronics and no such connector.

For reference, here's the diagram:

When I Googled, I found references to that pin diagram only for BMW (e.g. E46 3-series). They are not the same headunits as used in MINI. Therefore I'm skeptical but I think it's worthwhile to test it and verify.

This pinout diagram for the 1st gen MINI headunit marks those line-out pins as no connection.

I meant for the 2nd generation MINI (it does have a 40 pin connector, a little bit different but I think the pins are the same, at least the ones I used so far).
That is why it posted here.
Any diagram for the 2nd gen MINI?
