Any warranty issues to know about before I start?
I'm getting ready to work with my local sound shop, American Radio in Cumming, GA to upgrade my 6 speakers to something a littler better. I've also ordered
that I'll install myself soon. I'm still under the warranty and the extended maintenance agreement and I'd like to keep all that intact. Is there anything I need to know or that I should talk to the stereo shop about before I begin?
Thanks!
Thanks!

That all depends on what you are going to do.
If you are replacing the head unit well that is not such a wise idea as it also has all teh display computers built into it.
If you are just adding an amp and speakers there really should be no problems. just have them use the X9931 as the connection to get the audio signals for the amp.
If you are just replacing speakers only then well it may not be worth you while as the head unit has a very limited output and although it will sound better it still will be very hard to hear if you have the windows open.
