Changed speakers now no sound.

Anyone have this problem? I have a 2010 mccs with basic 6 speaker system. I changed to jl speakers in the front and mb quart in the rear. Now I turn on the car and the stereo powers up and all is there but no sound from speakers every fuse in the car is good. I need help please. I head back to afghan in 2 days and the wife needs her music...lol

Sounds as if you may have a shorted wire somewhere.

My suggestion is to check all of your speaker connections and make sure none of them are touching the mounting panels. if that does not work put the OEM speakers back and see if you get sound with them If not then you have other issues like possibly blowing the head unit.

You were correct. I removed all panels to find the short was in the rl speaker. Of course it would be in the one requiring the most work to get to. Lol but all is good now and sounds great too.
