Will it transfer to my 2012 MC (just ordered) for the $75 transfer fee? Is the equipment compatible? Certainly seems appealing not to pay for SIRIUS after year one.

Or, am I better served to use the Lifetime SIRIUS as a perk to get a better selling price for my used 08 MCS with 74,000 miles?

Help me think through my strategy here.

If I need to transfer SIRIUS subscription to my new radio, I suppose I can't sell my car until the new Cooper arrives.

Best to call Sirius. I do not think you can transfer your lifetime service to a new device.
