Those of you with OEM nav, I have a question. While I'll likely never use voice commands, it's not working is keeping me awake at night. It's my assumption/hunch that the voice input microphone goes through the bluetooth/hands free module and since I can't update it with the 'new' VO from my retrofit.

However, this diagram is confusing me: It clearly shows an attached microphone for the Navigation unit. An item that did not exist with my prior radio; yet voice input worked.

My question is: Does the OEM navigation use a second microphone? IF so, where is it located? (I've spoke with several of you offline, (thanks!) which I believe is the correct answer. Hopefully I'll find someone with an obscure-Different answer.)
