I just purchased a new ipod touch gen 4 and it will not hold a charge in my 05 cooper s with the ipod interface kit. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to fix it.

You may need an adapter because apple changed something in the way they charge a few years ago.mcharges on different wattage or amperage or something. I had to get an adapter for my alpine one to make it charge. Couldn't tell u where I got it though.
