Replacing stock HU for aftermkt an HU, will I lose OEM Nav function?
Hello,

Looking for some advice. I have a '05 R53 w/OEM Nav, and I want to upgrade my stock HU with a Pioneer or Alpine Multimedia Din1 HU. Is the stock HU tied in with the Nav System in a way that the Nav will not function when it's replaced with an aftermarket unit?

The Nav function is completely unaffected by the HU. The only issue with an aftermarket HU is that it might not have a way to play audio (directions) from the Nav.
