I have a 2004 CR/B MCS with the factory DVD navigation. In the upper right corner is the small GPS square that shows the status of nav satellites; sometimes just a couple of dots or so but normally the larger green icon that indicates the system is locked on to the optimum number of satellites. My question is, sometimes I'll see a small rectangle with numbers, pop up under the GPS square. Does anybody know why these numbers pop up and what they might mean? Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not sure but will watch to see if someone else knows. I have a different question: Is there any way to modify so that you can play a movie DVD in the player? Is something locked out to only play data DVD's? If there is no other way I'm considering patching in another DVD player with a toggle on the dash to select the source going to the screen.

I love that Nav system though. I searched for a car with one in the right color and finally found it. Couldn't be happier!

I looked into playing movies after someone told me they read a how-to that told how to do it. This person could have swore that the site was called hackthemini.com. I was unsucessful at finding it though. Here's a link to my previous post inquiring about this (with link to a $$$ solution).
