6th Gen. iPod Nano won't charge

My 2nd Generation iPod Nano was stolen from my 2006, JCW-S the other day, and when I replaced it with the current 6th Generation model, I found that it will not charge.

I tested the iPod interface with a 2nd Generation iPod Classic, and it charges fine.

I was careful to fully seat the plug, but the new Nano just will not charge.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I bet the new iPods use a different pin configuration and proabably requires an adapter. I would contact your Mini dealer and ask. I bet that is what it is. I installed the iPod interface in my Mini and the dealer wanted to know what generation I had because it required a different connection. Good luck.
