I have an 06 MCS wt the Harmon Kardon upgrade, Love it !

So wifey buys me the XM onyx since I complain that I cant hear my XM tunes when driving the mcs.

I routed supplied antenna, made a mount that holds the unit above the tilt down knee dash (not sure of correct name) so on, plug the aux out into the glove box and wala, XM music !

less than a min later, xm music is off and Im hearing the FM radio ?

I hit the source button on the radio and scroll though the list. I see cd,fm,am and NO aux listed on the radio ???
I unplug the aux cable leading to the xm from the glove box, XM radio says that There is no aux and switches to FM output....
hit source the button a few times and there again Aux is listed... I think strange things are happening.

I Plug the onyx back in to aux input and again music for less than a min :-(

I run to store, buy new mini plug patch cord,thinking maybe supplied one is fubar,
but same problem happens with new cord ...

So, I can listen to the XM onyx only if I let it use the built in FM channel but that sounds noticeably worse than the aux output.

Anyone here know what the heck is happening with the Aux dropping out on the HK ?
