Silencing Nav Lady

First drives in my new 2011 Cooper with MINI Connected and nav. I love the system, but have a question. Is there an easy (one button) way to silence the nav lady when i pull off the highway for gas or whatever? She tends to panic and want me to make a u-turn etc.

Assuming you have the MFSW, I would just press the voice button and say "stop guidance."

Perfect. Thanks so much for that. I've made a mental note to learn all the things I can do using voice commands.

I can't advise you on MINI connected.

But my 2007 nav. system has an option to turn off the lady's voice completely and just use the arrow display to show the next upcoming turn. Check your manual.
