Short answer - no, it won't work. The H/K system is rather unique.

I would think you best bet would be to replace the whole system. This might be your chance to justify upgrading.

I've been looking into it...

(1) Headunit = Alpine Ina-w900bt - $725
(2) Amp = Alpine pdx-F6 - $425
(3) Front Speakers = Focal Polyglass 5.25" component slim - $299
(4) Rear Speakers = Focal Polyglass 6x9" coaxial - $259
(5) Imprint Module - $125

If you can do the work yourself, not that hard, I would estimate it being around $1,800 with that kinda equipment. But it gives you nav, bluetooth and a sweet sound. Way more than probably finding a used hk amp.

Reading that last post, I wonder if picking up a crossover for the front door and tweeters, then hooking it up to the amp would be the best solution?
