Quick USB/AUX question

I have a 2010 Cooper S.

Currently I have the iPod Y-Cable plugged into the USB and AUX ports under my console. Has anyone else tried to put a splitter in the AUX port, or a USB hub in the USB port, and had multiple devices show up in the entertainment menu? Like, an iPod and a separate USB stick?

Never tried it in this vehicle. However, on other car stereos I have, none of them support a USB hub to connect multiple devices at once. Maybe Mini has done what no one else has been able to, to make this possible, but I doubt it.

I have tried a USB hub and it is not supported and will not allow any USB device connected to it to be seen.
