My MINI is a a pretty 2010 Pepper White beauty -

I have a USB stick that I load in my mini to listen to my MP3.
Yesterday, it was working fine and listened to wonderful music while driving home. THen I took my USB stick home to change/add/delete mp3s and put it back in my MINI and now when I select the USB option, it reads "Empty".

So I took it back in and looked through my computer and the music is all there...

Is there a reason why It reads that? Too much mp3s on there?
Any ways or fixes I can try before I tap myself a 1+ hour drive to the dealer and have them look into it ( plus the "god, what a dumb blonde!" looks from the mechanics? )

Don't feel bad about the dumb blonde look from folks, I found the mute button on my bike by accident. Just a ?, but did you somehow change the format? It may just need to be taken off the stick and put back on, although I am not a computer whiz I have had to do that from time to time to get them to work from one machine to the other.
Just a thought.

 

I suggest formatting the USB stick and reloading everything back on.

 

you guys were right... I took all the mp3s out of the stick and put them back in... All is working. THank you for the great advice!
