I picked up my MCS on Thursday eve and the dealer told me I would have to wait a week also.

I'm going to try burning a "backup" of mine today to see if this actually works, or if they've somehow locked the CD. I'll let you know the results.

I know some people that have a NAV CD club. They all use burned CDs. I'm pretty sure that burned CDs work.

It does work indeed! I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before. Now I don't have any reason to leave the original in the car - I'll keep it safely tucked away.

SO, the next comment I have is - since this is copyrighted stuff, I doubt we can OPENLY trade these. However, I sure would like to get CD's #4 and #6 since I have #5. It would be great to get the whole set so I can REALLY MOTOR!

Send me a private message.

ok here's the scoop... the CD's are made by navtech http://www.navtech.com... you can order new CD from their website... they dont have the MINI ones up there yet.. but the BMW ones are there(and have the same cover graphic as the MINI case).

So if its any indication the MINI CD is prolly the same price as the BMW.. they were charging 125.00 per disc

hope this helps

Chris
