HK Amp Access and driver side rear hinge cover
I am brand new to this forum so please bear with me. I have a need to bypass the HK amp in my 2006 Coop Sport Conv, but I need to knoe if I can access the HK amp with out much hassel or do I have to tear the rear interior out to do so. I know it is located some where in the right rear of the vehicle. I am also wondering if anyone can tell me the part number for the rear plastic boot hinge cover. it slips down over the hinge itsself and into the bumper.
Not sure about the convertible, but in the coupe you can access the one inaccessable screw through the hole where the boot light sits. Others have said you need to pull the interior panel.
In a 2006 convertible, the HK amp is under the passenger seat, which is attached with 4 bolts at the seat rails.
The driver side hinge cover is part# 51127151815.
