Distorting Bluetooth audio

When I'm on the phone and driving, the volume level that I need to have the stereo set to will result in some serious distortion in the tweeters (I have the HI-FI system) basicly it sounds like it's clipping really bad. So is this typical? I can crank the stereo up for music and not have any problems. This has been an issue since I bought the car, but more so now that I have modded the car and am getting more cabin noise. At present, I have bluetooth turned off I find it really frustrating to try and carry on a conversation. I can get away with using it when I'm parked, becuase I have no cabin noise to compete with. I do have some Dynamat to install, but I highly doubt this will be of enough help. If I'm missing something, please let me know.

I thought I was having problems with my blue tooth volume also until I found that I needed to increase the blue tooth volume on the phone itself then the stereo volume on phone calls (mine is HiFi also) was fine.

I'm not sure if I can turn up the bluetooth volume on my phone. I have a Samsung Eternity.

Also, I forgot to mention that I have Infinity Kappas installed up front, including the tweeters in the pillars. could be the infinity tweeters can't handle the volume well enough? At this point, they very well could be shot and in need of replacement.

Has anyone found a better tweeters?
