The MINI's Sirius radio (and potential packages)

As I wait for my Clubman, I find myself poking around all of the features that will be new to me with the MINI. Sirius will indeed be new to me, and I have just spent some time on the Sirius site. Here are a few questions I have:

1) Am I correct in assuming the package that comes with the 1 year of Sirius is the "Sirius Everything" package?

2) There is an "A La Carte" package that "Requires an A La Carte-capable SIRIUS radio." Is the MINI Sirius radio capable?

3) How much of a hassle is it to transition from the year of free Sirius to paying for our own?

Thanks for any, and all, insight.

1. Yes

2. Contact Sirius and they will be able to tell you.

3. It's not a hassle at all. You'll just need your radio's ID number (which you can find via your controls or in your paperwork) and call Sirius when you are ready.
