MFSW function-ability with H/U change

Didn't seem to find this anywhere else in the forums. I have a 2004 MCS with the MFSW. If I change out my stock H/U to an aftermarket one, will my MFSW be able to control the radio and all that good stuff?

Also, the 2004 MFSW's buttons are behind the steering wheel, what is the left handed middle button's use? There are 3 and the top and bottom change the tracks or preset radio stations, but I haven't figured out what the middle button does.

Depending on which H/U you have you can get one that uses the H/U built in capability (SWI-PS, JACK, ECL)

You can also check with newministuff.com - Mike has all sorts of interfaces.

The middle left button is an enigma. It, indeed, does nothing. Though there has been talk (and possibly even action) off accessing the ibus (IIRC) and actually making it do something.
