Muting stock Head Unit (Boost)

I have a 2005 MCS with the stock Boost Head Unit. Connected to this is a USA-Spec iPod adapter and a Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth unit. I'm pretty happy with this setup, except for ONE THING: when a call comes in, the Parrot doesn't actually mute the radio, it just takes over the speakers. In other words, the iPod or CD (depending on what I'm listening to) keeps playing. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, so this is a major annoyance. ("Now let's see - where was I?") My temporary fix is to try to remember to shut off the radio, but I'm wondering...

I've seen pictures of the HU and the OEM Bluetooth, showing "PHONE" on the display. I don't really need that, but I'm wondering if the CD or CD changer actually stops or pauses when the BT is active. If so, how can I adapt my Parrot to do this? (The Parrot has a "mute" cable, and the Y-adapter I bought for the HU has three wires "mute 1," etc., but none of them seem to work.

I've seen a pinout that says pin 10 and 11 have something to do with this, but my radio doesn't have anything connected to those pins. Can anyone tell me what type of signal they need to make this work?

TIA-
