Sub enclosure behind seat?

Has anyone done a sub enclosure behind the drivers seat, instead of in the trunk? No one will ever sit behind me so it seems like a great space for an enclosure. I had something similar in my old MR2 and it worked out really well. I could probably find a pickup truck enclosure that would fit pretty well but I was hoping for something Mini specific.

Any thoughts, or images of solutions? Thanks.

What's a trunk?

I haven't started mine, but am doing a rear seat delete and after some careful measuring to get the sub as close to time aligned with the drivers in the door, I'm building an enclosure in the seat's place. My sub only need's 1sq.ft. of space, so it should end up close to flush with the "ridge" that runs from wheel-well to wheel-well. I wouldn't advise installing subs under a seat, etc. It muffles the response, low freq. not withstanding..

Check out the DIY Mobile Audio forum(s) for a great bunch of car audio obsessed folks. Lotza help and info..

Cheers,

Bill in P.G.
