Samsung Instinct

Does anyone have any kind of feedback on the new Instict. I like the I-Phone but i get a nice company discount with Sprint. I have basic knowledge of its features but will appreciate some real user opinions. I have the comfort package but my Samsung A-640 does not seem to work with my car.

Thanks

i don't know about working with the car, as i am still awaiting my Jude... but i did just get the Instinct, and love it. better sound quality for me then my old Katana... only thing I notice is that reception seems to be a little lower in my apartment... which is a problem considering my cell is my main phone line. it somehow likes to go into roaming, so i have mine set to do the little warning for me when it's in roaming and i want to use it (just an extra step for me since i don't want to pay roaming charges.)

i wanted to switch and go iphone, but being that my mother decided to stay with sprint - and the two of us talk way too much..lol.. i stayed with spint for the free pcs-to-pcs calling. (i really don't talk that much on my phone except to her.) also, my work is all sprint phones... so at least those calls are unlimted to my cell also....

know that you have to have an "everything" plan or a "data" plan to get an instinct... (check with sprint for details) i have the cheapest "everything plan".

may i also suggest that you speak with sprint over the phone, and not in the stores... i found that they are much more knowledgeable... as the stores just seem to want to make a sale, and don't really get it when you say "i need to send pictures a lot - what plan will allow me to do that without getting charged every time?" (i got hit by this - which prompted my change in plans.

also - there is a wait online for the instinct... and our local sprint stores were out... but i found that after i changed my plan and did that stuff over the phone, "best buy" had many instincts in stock... and they don't do the "mail-in rebate"... i got the after rebate price up front - and no activation fee for my upgrade.

also - this is my first "fancy" web, video, everything phone... so i'm easily impressed ;-)
hope that helps.
