Blackberry/MS Outlook/Bluetooth ?

Wouldn't that be cool? ....to be able to see your calendar appointments on the screen while driving.

No, that's not my idea of cool. I have a BB and I don't even like the reminder screen that pops up for my appts. I turn it off most of the time. Having it in the car would be horrible.

I understand where thebignewt is coming from, but I think it would be cool. Sometimes I need to see my calendar while I'm on the phone...I don't look if I'm driving, but if it was on a bigger screen, maybe it would work and be safe.

I'd really appreciate if an appointment pops up and there is a phone number associated with it I could say dial and it would :-)

Except that is a distraction that none of u s other drivers need from those that have such things. They cause something we call accidents which really is not the proper word to use as they are not really accidental, they are caused by distracted drivers not watching the road.

Okay so maybe i am being a little harsh here but i was hit by two drivers in the same accident. The first one was on the phone and trying to write something down all at the same time, with no hands on the wheel when they hit a rut in the road that threw the car into my lane. then i was hit from the rear by someone looking at their contact list trying to find the correct number to call.

Although I do use my phone in the car i never make a call out. i only recive calls via the MFSW button to receive the call. If there is someone else in the car then a call can be made but the other person does all of the finding or typing of the phone number.

People need to get back to driving and be attentive to the driving they are doing and this WOULD bring down the accident rate and also our insurance rates.

I ride a road bike and am confident that if I die in the next 10 years it will be due to some idiot in an SUV weaving all over the road with head glued to the phone.
