Delphi skyfi3 for XM Sat on R56

Has anyone tried connecting a "Delphi SkyFi3" to a 2Gen Mini R56 (S)?
I have on order a Chili Red Cooper S and realized I didn't order SAT radio. Currently have been using XM for several years and have a RoadyXT in our Miata.
The nice thing about the SkyFi3 is you can rotate the view from horizontal to vertical. This gives more placement options, but I want to know if anyone has tried it in a Mini.
Any idea's? I am trying to keep clutter down to a minimum since I have a TomTom, Radar Detector etc.
Thanks

I put a RoadyXT in the cubby in front of the shifter. That's not a bad spot, overall, in my opinion.

I mounted the new Xpress RC infront of the shifter in our MS and still have room for my Garman gps. It's not ideal with the gps there but it does work with out much clutter.

I have done some more research on "mounting" various devices.(GPS & XM)
"MiniDoMore.com" offers bracket attachments that can connect to the tachometer. Similar to mounting gauges.
They then provide a link to another vendor called "ProClip USA". They offer various mounts for a lot of hardware vendors from GPS, MP3 players and Cell phones.
I don't want the area around my shifter, cup holders/lighter area blocked or cluttered.
Their solution looks like a decent option.

I use the ProClip mount and am very pleased with it...... mounts above the glove compartment and is angled just right (for me anyway). A little pricey, but it works.

If it's in the cubby behind the cupholders nothing is blocked. Maybe you have to tilt a soda bottle to read the display, but it is in the way of nothing. You lose the cubby. But you don't have that grafted on look that all the other solutions have.
