OK I'm lost

i wired up my line out converter and all the rest of the wires for my sub today. when i unhooked the ground and the power it did the normal flicker of the lights and they came back on nothing unusual. now is when i become baffled the radio turns on the sub does a little pop and no music or sound is played after that? i have checked the 2 fuses that have the little radio shown next to them in the drivers compartment. do i need to reset something are the speakers(not premium) wired to where if i didnt get a good connection at the line out converter would that make all the speakers not work? i am almost positive that it worked while i was testing the power and the remote wire. any ideas hopefully someone else has seen this or knows of a fuse that i dont. thanks

take a picture of the wiring at the LOC

my money is riding on you wired an output to another output

does the amp have any extra lights on on it? (protect?) do you get no sound out of your speakers either? if you disconnect your amp, does the problem persist?

i am going to try disconnecting the loc today after work but i dont get any sound out of anything so im thinking its in the factory unit cause if the speakers were working the loc would be working too. are there any fuses off the amplifier in the factory amplifier in the factory head unit? or any other fuses that control the radio besides the 2 in the drivers kick panel?

i'll look on my oem one when i get home, but they almost always have a fuse on the back. however, that is certianly not the issue. if the fuse was gone you wouldnt get anything at all, and it wouldnt be a repeatable "pop"

disconnect the RCAs from the amp, and hook up an ipod to it, and see if you get the same issue. do you have the RCAs from the LOC going to the inputs, or outputs of the amp?

Here's a basic wiring diagram I found online:

Make sure the negative and positive terminals are all correctly matching.

Is it a new sub and new amp and you are sure they both are okay?
In addition to the main + power line, where are you running the remote turn on for the amp?
Also, try upping the gain **** on the amp, and on the LOC (if it has one) to see if they are both turned all the way down.

ok im retarded and used a different loc then i am used to using anyways it had the dark wires as a positive and a negative not both negative. i should have read the instructions lol but what fun is that. fyi for a sub set up you dont really need to tie into both sides of the rear speakers you can just put the 2 positive and 2 negatives together and that will worf fine. i ran the remote off of the back up sensor fuse spot since i dont have that option. it works now and can post pics of the flush monted amp on the side of the box. all was very easy and will post measurments if anyone wants to copy it
