Line-output convertor

I just bought a line output convertor( due to my unwillingness to pay 150 bucks for a wiring harness.... rediculous) Anyways, my question is this, to those who have added an amp to your stock system via this method, what wire is used for the remote turn-on? I want ot get this installed today, but I can wait until I have my answer. Thank you in advance.

I ran the remote on from my amp to the rear cigarette lighter, as pictured here:
