Sorry if this has already been covered but i didnt know what to search for! You know when you remove the factory CD player...disconnect the wiring from the back of it..there is a strange box connecter which i havent seen before. Now i have seen the common flat pin connector, and even the BMW round pin connector but never this one in my mini.
Any idea's as to what it is called so that i can phone around and try to order one? Ordered something from a local hlafords last ngiht but am 99% sure its not the right thing...they didnt seem to know what they were talking about...much like me!

Not really sure what you're asking.
Are you referring to the style of these two plugs?

If so, those are just regular ol' BMW plugs. Been in use since the mid/late 90's. Maybe you're more familiar with the previous style?
Anyway, why on earth would you need to order one?

 

sorry i didnt really specify what i was asking very well....and i have just wrote this message out 20 times but still cant explain it properly...i will take pics tonight and show you what i mean! if i can find my camera that is!!
