Anyone bi-amped their system using the stock amp

I'm thinking of bi-amping and wondered if the stock amp (standard audio system) can be dedicated to the rears/subs?

the standard audio system doesn't have an amp.

The HIFi is already bi-amped (as in different outputs for each woofer/mid/tweet)

So no amp at all in the standard system? Its just using the head unit for amplification? Does that mean the crossover points are built into the head unit?

Will the wires still be in the rear where the amp is for the HIFI system?
