Well, adding a powered subwoofer is pretty easy, because most of them accept speaker-level inputs to their amplifiers. What you do is tap into the rear speaker wires for the connection to the powered sub. The subwoofer amp has a built-in crossover so that the sub will only play the low notes, and will send the higher frequencies on to the rear speakers. The only other thing you might want to do for improved performance is install inexpensive "bass blockers" (inline inductors) on the front speakers so that they don't play the ultra-low notes that the subwoofer will be taking care of. You'd be amazed at how much better stock front speakers can sound when they don't have to handle the low stuff (like 70 hz and below).

Not unless you're confusing me with Mark Ferguson, the founder & owner of NAM...

My first name is Haemish (pronounced hey-mish), and that's what people usually know (besides Edge). In an interesting twist of fate, my middle name is Mark... but the only people who call me that usually are ones who just can't seem to pronounce my first name correctly (often people from another country... I end up telling them to just call me Mark).

No big deal - a long time ago, I confused Dave (the other NAM Administrator) with Mark as well. Heh. Sometimes I think people associate our titles somehow and they think the three of us are one person.
