MP3 player audio hook up
Anybody know what radio out of what year mini comes with the FM auxilary channel so you can plug up an mp3 player. I have been told it is the 05 and later?

I have an 06 and pulled the factory deck out to do the same thing. My deck is an Alpine (way to go Mini) but it has no RCA or 3.5 jack on the back. There are some empty plugs though, No AUX in, nada, zip.

My '04 MCS has the aux input; cost $35. as a dealer installed option.

Some of the early build 04s I've heard were not capable, but later 04 and greater are.

MY02+ MINI is compatible with AUX.
