Bluetooth?

ok i'm a complete newb when it comes to the navigation or anything related to my mini. i picked up mine used about 3 weeks ago and i'm still trying to learn everything. anyways, it came with the navigation and on the steering wheel there is a button with a phone on it. i figured it was bluetooth device.. so i checked the manual and i think it is? but the manual doesnt really give much info. can someone help? i can be completely wrong.. thanks!

Hard to say if the factory bluetooth mod is installed or not. (I don't know where the factory one is mounted. However, all steering wheels of that style have the same buttons. The bluetooth is a seperate purchase from the NAV.

And odds are it's not factory bluetooth...because from the factory the bluetooth is so expensive, not many people opt for it.

The way to try and find out is to put your phone on bluetooth search mode...see if it picks anything up.

The MFSW buttons will be there, but I've never seen a MINI with factory BT. We do have our own bluetooth kit for NAV-equipped MINIs:
